Example 9 - London Slate Paving
A typical London courtyard garden was paved using slate slabs throughout, with decorative stone setts and large rounded pebbles alongside the edges. The whole garden was levelled to create a sense of space, with the blue / black slate highlighting the subtle blue tones in the brick wall.
