About Us
in Arcadia Garden Design grew out of a love for everything to do with gardens and gardening and also as a result of our own garden, which has been created out of a wilderness over the past fifteen years and is now open to the public under the National Gardens Scheme for all to enjoy. It was originally an exposed site, which had to be protected by creating 'rooms' in which more tender plants could flourish. Now it contains many unusual plants, water features and hard features, and is a mix of formal and wild, courtyard garden, gravel garden, orchard, wood and vegetable garden. We are also experimenting with hydroponics as a water conserving measure.
